Yang Gil-joon, CEO of the Time Media Job Center, said, "We hope that this fair, co-hosted by the Time Media Job Center and Sejong University, will continue to help foreign students enrolled in Sejong University and higher education institutions nationwide, and contribute to the regional innovation-oriented university support system, RISE (Regional Innovation System & Education) in 2025, which began this year by the government, and the Study Korea 300K Project, which aims to become one of the world's top 10 international powers by attracting 300,000 foreign students by 2027."
Meanwhile, for the first time in Korea's higher education institutions, the ISF International Student Job Start-up Fair, co-hosted by the Time Media Center (JOBCENTER) and Sejong University, has been successfully held three times so far for foreign students attending universities nationwide since the spring of 2023 after COVID-19, and accumulated about 1,800 foreign students from 30 to 40 companies and institutions (accumulated about 100 companies and institutions) and more than 80 universities nationwide participated in each session.
Large companies such as Hanwha and Hyosung, major domestic hotels and franchises such as Park Hyatt Seoul Hotel, Chosun Hotel, Andaz Seoul Gangnam Hotel, Chosun Hotel, Fairmont Ambassador Seoul Yeouido Hotel, Five Guys, Bounce Trampoline Park, global mid-sized companies such as Ostem Implants, educational companies such as Carat Global, and many startups and small businesses wishing to enter the global market participated in the fair and conducted interviews with foreign students and succeeded in hiring them in various ways.
In addition, Kyung Hee University Campus Town, AC, VC companies, and related organizations participated to provide various information and services necessary for foreign students who wish to start a startup. The Time Media Job Center and Sejong University will cooperate with the International Management Service of the Korean Business Association (formerly. International Management Service of the Federation of Korean Industries), ISIC International Student Card, Stewvisor, and Kyung Hee University Campus Town at the Convention Hall (B2) of the Gwanggaeto Hall of Sejong University on Thursday, November 7, 2024. The ISF 4th International Student Job Start-up Fair will be held for foreign students enrolled in universities across the country.
