Sejong University Hosts the 3rd Foreign Student Employment and Startup Fair

Sejong University, in collaboration with its Job Center, hosted the 3rd ISF SPRING 2024 Foreign Student Employment and Startup Fair on the 9th at the Gwanggaeto Hall Convention Center. The event was attended by approximately 600 international students studying across 202 diverse major programs from 75 domestic universities, 9 foreign universities, and 7 exchange partner universities. During the fair, recruitment interviews for international students were conducted by over 30 participating companies and organizations, including Hanwha Food Tech, Hyosung Good Springs, FG Korea (Five Guys Burger), Osstem Implant, Carrot Global, Bounce, and Plugroup.

In addition, startup consulting services were offered by Kyung Hee University Campus Town and various companies specializing in legal, patent, administrative, and investment services. Han Jeong-hoon, Director of Sejong University’s One-Stop Service Center, stated, "Building on the success of the previous two events, we focused on two key strategies for this fair: a demand-driven program and expanding the number of participating companies."

Yang Gil-jun, CEO of the Job Center, commented, "What started as a project with Sejong University during the COVID-19 pandemic in 2022 has now reached its third edition. Although it is still in a trial phase, it’s gratifying to see it become the only fair of its kind targeting international students studying at universities nationwide."

Various partner organizations supported the event, including the Korea Economic Association International Management Center, ISIC International Student Identity Card, LiveWith (ESG Organizers), Yellow Punch, and StewVisor. Meanwhile, the 4th Foreign Student Employment and Startup Fair is scheduled to take place on November 7 at Sejong University’s Gwanggaeto Hall Convention Center.
