"Establishing a Partnership to Strengthen Global Competitiveness and Secure Multinational Talent"
[Article Excerpt]
Stuvisor (CEO Ocean Yang) and Ajou University (represented by Director of the Office of International Affairs, Seokwon Lee) have recently signed a strategic agreement aimed at attracting international students. As global competition intensifies in the higher education sector, the partnership seeks to enhance the university’s internationalization efforts and provide more systematic and effective pathways for international student enrollment. Under the agreement, Stuvisor will lead a wide range of global promotional initiatives, including the planning and operation of domestic and overseas education fairs, online marketing, and specialized admissions consulting services. The company plans to implement customized strategies to attract top-tier international students and will focus on producing practical content and managing promotional channels that highlight the academic and career opportunities available in Korea.
Ajou University, through its Office of International Affairs, is diversifying its recruitment strategies for international students and continues to strengthen its comprehensive academic programs and tailored support systems across undergraduate and graduate levels. Notably, beginning in the Fall 2025 semester, the university will introduce an English-language track within its undergraduate Global Business Administration program, designed to meet growing international demand and enhance global competitiveness.
This partnership is gaining attention as a model of collaboration between higher education institutions and specialized international student recruitment platforms. It is expected to yield substantial results in attracting talented multinational students and fostering joint strategies for sustainable global education outreach.
Stuvisor is a leading platform offering solutions for international student recruitment, management, employment, and entrepreneurship support. The organization launched following the 2012 "K-Conference" held at the Shilla Hotel in Seoul, where education experts from over 30 countries gathered for workshops and forums, solidifying Stuvisor’s global education network and expertise.
CEO Ocean Yang began his international education career in London in 2002 and has since held prominent roles such as Vice President of FELCA (UK), Board Member of ALTO (Europe), and President of KOSA (Korea). He has led numerous initiatives promoting Korean education worldwide and boosting its global presence.
In 2011, Yang initiated the “K-Conference,” involving experts from more than 30 countries and over 80 Korean universities, contributing to Korea’s educational prominence on the world stage. He also served as Global Marketing Director for K-Culture at K-Wave Magazine on KBS World, promoting Korean culture internationally.
Since 2023, Stuvisor has partnered with Sejong University to co-host the ISF (International Student Fair) twice a year in March and September, which covers employment, entrepreneurship, and admissions for international students. Furthermore, the organization launched the "SAW World Tour," a global recruitment initiative across 46 countries both online and offline, to build a comprehensive ecosystem for attracting, supporting, and integrating international students in Korea.
