Sejong University (President Eom Jong-hwa) will co-host a large-scale university admission fair for international students on Tuesday, May 13, 2025, at its Gwanggaeto Hall Convention Center in Seoul, in partnership with global study abroad platform Stuvisor.

Named “ISF SUEF (International Student Fair: University & Graduate Admission Fair),” the event aims to provide practical academic guidance to global talents interested in studying in Korea while enhancing the international competitiveness of Korean universities.

This initiative is aligned with the Ministry of Education’s “Study Korea 300K Project,” a national strategy aiming to attract 300,000 international students by 2027. The goal is to elevate Korea to one of the top 10 study destinations worldwide, supported by qualitative student recruitment and a structured support system.

An estimated 1,000 participants—including university officials, study abroad agencies, and related organizations—are expected to attend. The fair will offer programs such as 1:1 admission interviews, specialized consulting sessions, and global education networking. Students and the general public can participate free of charge, while institutions will be charged a booth fee of 990,000 KRW.

Han Jeong-hoon, Director of Sejong University’s One-Stop Service Center, stated, “This ISF SUEF goes beyond traditional university promotion. It provides students with the opportunity to meet representatives directly and plan their academic careers. Sejong University is committed to offering comprehensive support from admission to career development.”

Ocean Yang, CEO of Stuvisor, added, “The number of international students in Korea has nearly doubled over the past decade to exceed 200,000. This SUEF fair will become a strategic platform for students with strong study abroad aspirations.”

This event expands the original ISF (International Student Fair) series—initially focused on employment and entrepreneurship—into the admissions field, reinforcing Korea’s global position in education and refining recruitment strategies for international students.
