Sejong University (President Eom Jong-hwa) is partnering with global study-abroad platform Stuvisor to host a large-scale admission fair aimed at recruiting international students. The event will be held on May 13 at the Gwanggaeto Hall Convention Center on the university’s Seoul campus.

Officially named the “ISF SUEF (International Student Fair: University and Graduate School Admission Fair),” the fair is positioned as a strategic initiative to offer practical academic guidance to global students aspiring to study in Korea, while also enhancing the international competitiveness of Korean universities.

This event aligns with the Ministry of Education's “Study Korea 300K Project,” a national strategy aimed at attracting 300,000 international students by 2027. Korea is seeking to become one of the world’s top 10 study destinations, focusing on both quantitative growth and the development of a robust support infrastructure for students.

Around 1,000 attendees—including representatives from domestic and international universities, study abroad agencies, and related organizations—are expected to attend. Programs include 1:1 admission interviews, expert consulting sessions, and global education networking. Students and general visitors may attend for free, while institutions must pay a booth fee of 990,000 KRW.

Han Jeong-hoon, Director of Sejong University’s One-Stop Service Center, stated, “This ISF SUEF will be more than just a promotional event—it will provide students with direct access to university representatives and help them map out their educational futures. Sejong is committed to offering comprehensive support from admission to career planning.”

Ocean Yang, CEO of Stuvisor, added, “In the past decade, the number of international students in Korea has nearly doubled to surpass 200,000. This SUEF will become a strategic platform for students with real study-abroad ambitions.”

This edition of the event marks an expansion of the ISF (International Student Fair) series, which traditionally focused on employment and entrepreneurship. It is expected to elevate Korea’s presence in the international education market while helping to refine student recruitment strategies.
