A workshop to promote the attraction of international students in September 2025, officially sponsored by Sejong University's One-Stop Center (Jong-hwa Eom, President ), was successfully completed at Sejong University's Daeyang Hall AI Center on February 20, 2025, according to Stuvisor (Giljun Yang, Ocean Yang, CEO). The workshop provided important information related to attracting global international students and provided an opportunity to further strengthen the international education competitiveness of Korean universities.

Key achievements of the 2025 SAW KOREA Workshop

 

The workshop to attract foreign students for admission in September 2025 was held with major domestic universities such as Gachon University, Konkuk University, Kyunghee University, Dongguk University, Deokseong Women's University, Yeungnam University, Ajou University, Woosong University, Sogang University, Sungkyunkwan University, Sejong University, and Hanyang University participating. In addition, it played an important role in expanding opportunities to attract international students by discussing various study abroad opportunities such as Korean language courses, bachelor's, master's, doctoral courses, vacation camps, and visiting student programs in cooperation with international companies from 13 countries.

 

SAW World Tour Project and Changes in Global Study Market

 

The SAW (Steviser Agency Workshop) World Tour project is a B2B workshop specializing in attracting international students in 46 countries around the world, and professional study abroad farms (SPANs) and stewards' partner educational institutions (SPINs) collaborate to promote global student attraction. Through this, educational institutions are expanding their international education networks and providing better opportunities for international students to study abroad.

 

Future cooperation plan between Stuvisor and Sejong University One Stop Center

 

The Ministry of Education announced that it will attract 300,000 foreign students by 2027 to make Korea one of the world's top 10 study-abroading powerhouses. To realize this concretely with universities, Stuvisor will hold a workshop to promote the attraction of SAW B2B students in February and August every year, and a college (graduate) admission information fair in May and November, along with Sejong University. Following February, more than 50 companies specializing in studying abroad are expected to participate in more than 20 universities and in more than 15 countries on Aug. 21.

 

"The core goal is to establish a proven and reliable B2B education market in order to realize the Ministry of Education's project to attract 300,000 international students and the goal of attracting foreign students from domestic universities," said Han Jeong-hoon, head of Sejong University's One-Stop Center. "In order to achieve Sejong University's goal of attracting 6,000 foreign students, we are inviting companies specializing in global foreign student attraction and major universities and educational institutions in Korea to conduct a SAW workshop to promote the attraction of foreign students from B2B with our stewards," he said. "Through this, we intend to continue to attract outstanding foreign students from multinational countries to Sejong University, expanding the global education network and strengthening Sejong University's international status." "We plan to actively engage Sejong University to attract better foreign students in the international education environment in the future," said Han. "This workshop will be of great help."
