Sejong University Co-hosts the 5th International Education Forum with Stuviser

[Smart Economy = Bok Hyeon-myeong] Sejong University successfully hosted the "5th International Education Forum (SIEF)" on December 7 at its Gwanggaeto Hall Convention Center, in collaboration with the global education company Stuviser, to enhance its expertise in foreign student recruitment and management.
The forum was organized in alignment with the government’s "Study Korea 300K Project" and the vision to "Leap into the Top 10 Study Abroad Destinations," aiming to discuss practical solutions for foreign student recruitment and management.
Experts from various institutions and companies, including university international offices, external affairs offices, international education centers, Korean language institutes, and embassies in Korea, participated in the event to explore the future direction of foreign student recruitment and management. The forum featured diverse presentations on foreign student recruitment and management. Yoo Hyo-goo, Sejong University's Director of Career Services, presented "The Current and Future Support for Employment and Entrepreneurship for International Students," while Han Jeong-hoon, Team Leader of the One-Stop Service Center, proposed "Efficient Management Methods for International Students."
Additionally, △Kim Young-Jae, Vice Director of Yeungnam University’s International Office, presented "The Current Status and Strategies for Foreign Student Recruitment at Regional Universities," △Kim Bo-Kyung, Director of Hanyang University’s International Affairs Office, shared "Know-How on Foreign Student Recruitment and Management through Global Education Enterprises," and △Kim Jung-shop, Director of Kyung Hee University’s International Education Center, discussed "The Current and Future Status of Korean Language Education for Foreign Students."
Han Jeong-hoon, Team Leader of Sejong University’s One-Stop Service Center, remarked, "This forum was a space to discuss Sejong University’s strategic contributions to achieving the government’s foreign student recruitment goals. We will continue to support international students by providing global-level education infrastructure and a systematic management system to ensure their success in both academics and career paths."
Sejong University is preparing various support measures to attract 6,000 international students, in line with the government’s policy to expand foreign student recruitment.
These efforts have yielded impressive results in global university rankings, with Sejong University ranked 201-250 in the 2025 THE World University Rankings, 396th in the 2025 QS World University Rankings, and 241st in the 2024-2025 U.S. News World University Rankings.
These achievements demonstrate Sejong University’s international competitiveness and show that it provides an attractive educational environment for international students.
